The Board of Directors of the Homestake Opera House would like to invite you to our 2026 Gala to be held on May 30, beginning at 5:30 pm.
This year, we are being joined by special keynote speaker, Scotte Burns. Scotte is a nationally-recognized author and speaker who spent six years and 100,000 miles exploring one question across all 48 states: What is love? From Lakota elders to Tibetan monks to neuroscientists and street people, his conversations lead him on a journey of deep discover that he is now blessed to share. In "The Ultimate Reality: Raising the Light", Scotte will detail what he has learned, speaking to the truth that love isn't a feeling or an action. It's how reality itself creates, connects, and calls us forward. The 2026 Gala will be an evening that will change how you see love, purpose, and the places where both come alive. The evening will also include special music by Keith Hampton! Keith will be sharing songs from his upcoming album, Only Echoes, and setting the tone for the evening through song. Finally, we will be auctioning off various historic items that are unique to the Homestake Opera House, including windows, theatrical lights, framed pictures, spindles, and more.
