Keith Hampton will be performing an Album Release Show for his new album Only Echoes on May 31, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Homestake Opera House. This will be an intimate performance held in the former library on the second floor. Keith will be performing the new album in its entirety along with songs throughout his career. Hor d'oeurves will be served following the show during the "Meet & Greet" hour.
Originally from Wisconsin, Austin-based artist Keith Hampton spent many years as part of the vibrant Boston folk scene, where he performed on the historic stages at Club Passim, Johnny D's, and The Center for Arts in Natick, and opened for renowned acts such as Cosy Sheridan and Deb Pasternak.
He founded Brave Records to distribute his own recordings HOPEfire (2002), Chance & Change (2006), and Tyranena (2010). He also produced and performed as part of the Brave Records compilation Coming Home: Boston Song Collective (2004). The label has published music by a diverse roster of songwriters, classical musicians, and world music artists.
Journeyman (2014) was inspired by Joni Mitchell's introspective road-trip songs, delivering stories of living, loving, leaving, and letting go. FOLLOWING (2018) is a covers project, offering new interpretations of pop hits from the 1980s with unforgettable melodies. Beyond (2022), is a personal collection of reflective songs about connection: with family, friends, and self.
Hampton's new project, Only Echoes (2026) takes the music in a different direction, chronicling stages of grief, healing, and growth.
Do not miss this evening of music, discovery, and poignant beauty!
