Jayda Hunter: Vocal Recital

Jayda is a college student at South Dakota State University entering her sophomore year. She is studying music education with a vocal emphasis. Throughout high school and college, she has had numerous performances singing classical music as a soprano, including statewide voice competitions through SDMTA and NATS, in auditioned choirs statewide and through my university. Last spring she asppeared as a supporting character in an opera through her university. When she graduates, she plans to stay in South Dakota to teach music. Jayda has stated, "I loved singing in the Black Hills throughout high school, and wanted to do this performance so that I could perform for the community, as well as friends and family who could not watch my performances across the state. Singing and music has always been one of the most important parts of my life, as well as community and togetherness, so I am very excited for this performance!"

Jayda will be presenting a Vocal Recital on July 27 at 6:00pm. This performance will be FREE to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
