Join us on October 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm for a special screening of the acclaimed documentary "BORDERLAND: The Line Within." This powerful film explores the human stories behind today's immigration system, the for-profit business it has become, and the resilient individuals who are fighting for, and working toward, a more just future. It is a film that poses the hard questions: How do I contribute to the broken systems surrounding immigration? What am I doing to build a more just future for ALL?
The Homestake Opera House is proud to participate in the 2026 Fall For Freedom Film Festival, a nationwide celebration of the art needed for a fair and free democracy.
The conversation doesn't stop at a wall! In fact, you can join the conversation. Following the film, a study guide will be provided for those interested in going deeper, discovering more, and begin to recognize the border within.
