MOSES WARD plays the delivery man in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. Moses is a Black Hills native who recently returned to Lead after living in Lincoln, Nebraska for the last seven years. This is his second production with the Gold Camp Players at the Historic Homestake Opera House. He had a great time working on this production and hopes you enjoy the show!

PHELAN SCHERER
plays lawyer Paul Bratter, a newlywed to Corie Bratter
in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, and returns to the stage after a five-day hiatus to find himself. Phelan began his acting career at the age of two when his mom asked him if he ate all of the cookies. Phelan has no free time, but is a father, photographer, actor, and works at the SD School of Minds and Technology as the Digital Marketing Specialist.

KURT BAUER plays Victor Velasco, the neighbor in the attic. Kurt is very happy to be returning to HOH. His debut was with the previous show “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot” in which he played prosecuting attorney Yusaf El-Fayoumy. The vast majority of this cast and crew were also in that show and he is excited to be working with them again. Kurt is especially thrilled to be back home living in the Black Hills after a 34 year absence. Since returning he has done characters in the Rose Hill Cemetery Walk in Spearfish. While in Houston Kurt did numerous plays, commercials, industrial films and feature films. Among his favorite roles in Houston were Juror #8 in 12 ANGRY MEN, Merkin in BELOW THE BELT, Carr Gomm in THE ELEPHANT MAN, Mr. Banks in FATHER OF THE BRIDE, Linus Larabee Jr. in SABRINA FAIR and Mike Talman in WAIT UNTIL DARK. He also performed the one-man show A ONE SIDED CONVERSATION WITH CASEY STENGEL in Houston; and has been in productions at the Matthews Opera House in 2001 and 2002.

CAMI DOHMAN plays Mrs. Banks, Corie's mother. Cami has a favorite color, and that's periwinkle. She owns many cats, despite being allergic to them. She enjoys going for hikes and is made of literal sunshine. Cami once found the end of a rainbow but instead of a pot of gold, she and the leprechaun made a blood oath ... but she can’t say what it’s about.
Picture
JOEL EDGAR
plays the telephone repairman in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. After moving to the hills, Joel worked a bunch of jobs, and finally settled as a sandwich artist. After being convinced to do a part in a musical, he became hooked to being on stage. Joel likes acting as a Thespian and being someone else. It is a good way to give back and have fun. Hope you enjoy the show!

DIRECTOR, ROB ANDRESEN is making his directorial debut after performing in several productions with the Gold Camp Players and Brookings, SD Community Theatre.

HISTORIC HOMESTAKE OPERA HOUSE SOCIETY MISSION:
Built in 1914 by the Phoebe Hearst and her Homestake Gold Mining Company, this historic performing arts venue and recreation center boasted an exquisite theater with 1,000 seats, and a library, a bowling alley, a billiards hall, a social hall, and a heated indoor swimming pool.

From its construction in 1914 until a catastrophic fire in 1984, the Opera House was the center of community life and lifelong education in Lead, South Dakota. The Society is dedicated to its restoration, use, and preservation for future generations, in the belief that it is the cornerstone for the preservation, renewal, and development of our community.

While these efforts continue, the Society makes use of the facility to the extent possible to generate revenue and advance its mission.
The theater is host to 40 performing arts/educational events while restoration progress is underway from a fire in 1984. The theater currently seats 500. Visit year-round for building tours and see the new Interpretive Center upstairs and recently restored walls in the theater.
This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Click here to read our full statement.
