Saturday, October 17 | 2:00PM
Gordy Pratt and Dalyce Sellers combined their unique brand of Americana, music, comedy and virtuosic guitar performances to critical acclaim throughout the Midwest. The two bring together more than six decades of entertaining audiences, leaving them laughing and feeling good from concert stages, to corporate banquets and state fairs.
Called the "Victor Borge of the Guitar," Gordy Pratt mesmerizes audiences with his unique blend of world-class guitar playing and stand-up musical comedy. His fingers fly as he plays Bach and Bluegrass in the same breath, Mozart on "12 cups of good, strong cowboy coffee," and a foot-stomping turn of "Classical Gas."
Dalyce Sellers is a born entertainer. From kindergarten on up she has been a performer for anyone who would listen. As a part of rock and roll bands like The Tracterz and Lip Service she opened for acts such as Huey Lewis and the News, the Violent Femmes, Bow Wow Wow and many others. Dalyce was inducted into the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame as part of the group Hot Rod Chevy Kevy.
The two combined forces in 2017 giving birth to a bran new family-friendly, character-driven comedy and music show.
Kenny Putnam - When he was in college at the University of South Dakota, he was approached by Roy Clark to go on tour. Putnam then joined Clark and played all over the world, from the Grand Ole Opry to Leningrad in the former Soviet Union.
During their eight-year tour, they also played the Houston Astrodome, Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and even Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show.”
An ardent supporter of Rapid City’s art scene, Putnam believes that artists have to be as creative making a living as they are making art.
